I know that the possibility of an airplane from a dirtbike engine. I thought a 650 4-stroke. I have to be as light as possible and the implementation of 2 people and a bag or two can. no idea how fast I wanted and if I could, and landed in a field?

No, not practical. There are dozens of reasons why you might go, but I give what I consider the breakdown.

The biggest problem is the need for a gearbox / transmission. To the amount of energy you need (almost maximum power for these motors) to create, you have them closer to the maximum speed. For a motorcycle racing, it can be anywhere from 10,000 rpm to 15,000 rpm. A propeller works only about 1,500 rpm-2, 500rpm. This means that you will need a gear to take care of the minute difference in rpm. To further complicate matters, if necessary, change the engine stopped the proposal in an appropriate speed.

Although it is likely that a manufacturer can make intelligent and practical, I think it worth the money. You can an engine that by special plane that no more money than a sport 1000cc engine.
